Meet our newest dentists – perfectly placed to keep your smile healthy!

23-01-2019

Your gums are really important as they keep your teeth in their place. Regular teeth brushing and cleaning between teeth helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy. These also help to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

Some people live with bleeding gums but choose to ignore it. Often it is an early warning sign of gum disease, which is fully treatable. If left untreated, gums can become sore and teeth can become loose and eventually fall out. There is scientific evidence, too, that gum disease can be associated with other health conditions such as heart problems or diabetes.

Nader-DentistOur new dentist Nader is specifically trained to take care of your gum health and can advise you on effective cleaning regimes, healthy dietary and lifestyle choices to promote excellent oral health, which in turn may also improve your overall general health.

Initially working as a general practitioner after graduation from Glasgow, Nader found he had a keen interest in restorative dentistry and periodontology. After completing various certificates in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, he is now studying for his Masters in Periodontology and spends the majority of his clinical time dedicated to the treatment of gums.

In his spare time, he is a keen aviator and a part-time football coach and follows the fortunes of Queens Park Rangers.

So, to ensure your smile is a winner, book an appointment with Nader should you have any concerns about your gums.

Remember, gum health is a key factor in your general health and well-being as well as your quality of life.

Rebecca-Dentist

Meanwhile, our other new dentist Rebecca graduated from Birmingham in 2010.

She worked in a family-run practice back in her home county of Yorkshire before moving down to Oxfordshire with her family. She has a passion for all aspects of dentistry but especially restorative and cosmetic work. She has completed extensive postgraduate training in these areas, enabling her to provide treatments using the latest techniques and materials.

She enjoys family dentistry, getting to know all of her patients and has a friendly caring nature, so she will put you at ease straight away. She believes in minimal intervention and prevention whenever possible.
